Math Function Mania is a wonderful learning program that helps students to master algebra and mathematics functions. It includes three modes: Combat!, Ten problem game, and Time trial. In the Ten problem game mode users should first detect the kind of the function used, and then click on the correct multiple choice answer. The time trial is the same but it adds a time bonus. In the Combat mode, the rules are just the same but one player plays against another player, and the first one to buzz in gets to click on the answer, but if the answer is wrong the other player scores more points. The topics include equations, algebra, factoring, to name but a few. The game includes 20 levels, with unlimited number of items. It has a hint system, which helps users to find the answer easily, and sound effects. Users can set the hint delay and whether they want flask graphics or not. The user interface is not so attractive and looks rather old, but it is well organized and intuitive. All in all, Math Function Mania includes everything a student needs to master his/her maths and algebra skills while having fun. |
